Youth development programs are important to helping young people grow to be healthy, self-confident adults. Such programs are often based in or linked to schools, community groups, or faith communities. Examples include extracurricular activities in school, interscholastic athletics, community centers, civic clubs, and church and synagogue youth groups.

Executive Committee: Responsible for and has authority to conduct the affairs of the Society between Annual Meetings and is the policymaking body of the organization. Meets before and after the Annual Meeting and monthly by conference call.
